On 10th - 11th August 2021, Our Director Dr. S. K. Sinha visited Srinagar (J&K) regarding meetings with the authorities of various State Government departments/ institutions, such as Department of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture and a Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology (SKUAST) in reference to presentations on "Importance of laboratory accreditation as per ISO/ IEC 17025: 2017 under the national/ international recognition of ILAC-MRA and NABL”.
The presentations at three different venues were attended by the large number of laboratories' personnel, authorities along with the Directors of various respective departments and the Vice Chancellor of the mentioned university.
It was a very successful and useful programme in view of the awareness of various laboratories towards their inclination for accreditation under NABL. The presentation was also widely covered through the print media as well as through the live telecast of the programme on their virtual medium (on-line) to various districts of J&K.
